Collision closes part of Highway 16 in northwest Saskatchewan

MAYMONT — The Saskatchewan RCMP reports members of the Warman detachment are at the scene of a serious collision on Highway 16, three kilometres northwest of Maymont.

"As this investigation is in preliminary stages, we do not have additional details to share at this time," the RCMP said. 

The westbound lanes of Highway 16 are closed for an undetermined amount of time, the RCMP said. Motorists should expect delays in the area, and are asked to slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
