INDIAN HEAD – Indian Head RCMP have charged a woman after 10.25 kg of cocaine was seized during a traffic stop.
On July 29 at approximately 12:50 a.m., Indian Head RCMP stopped an SUV on Highway 1, near Indian Head, for a driver’s licence, registration, and sobriety check.
As a result of the investigation, officers determined there were likely illicit drugs in the vehicle. The driver was arrested.
During a search, officers located and seized 10.25 kilograms of cocaine and a sum of cash.
A 33-year-old woman, from Windermere, B.C., has been charged with:
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime less than or equal to $5,000; and
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
She appeared in court in Fort Qu’Appelle on July 30.
