The Ag Transport Coalition reports performance for both CN and CPKC Rail declined last week, resulting in system performance declining to 84%, down from 88% the previous week, and now having declined for a third straight week.
System performance remains below the 90% threshold for a third consecutive week.
In supplying 71% of cars ordered by shippers in week 52, CN saw performance decline from 78% in week 51.
This marks the third consecutive week that CN performance has declined, with the railway posting its worst performance since week 5 in early September.

Meanwhile, in supplying 95% of shipper orders, CPKC performance declined from the 99% order fulfillment performance seen in each of the prior four weeks.
Despite the decline, CPKC performance has now been at 90% or better for thirteen consecutive weeks.
