SASKATOON — An inmate at the Regional Psychiatric Centre died on Aug. 7.
At the time of death, Steeve Racine was 62 years old and had been serving a life sentence since Aug. 30, 1991.
Correctional Service Canada (CSC) said the inmate’s next of kin have been notified.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the CSC will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
