REGINA — A police investigation is underway after the discovery of two bodies in North Central Regina Tuesday morning.
Police were dispatched to a call for service on the 1100 block of Elphinstone Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 11. When officers arrived, they located two deceased individuals in the vicinity. Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit.
The Regina Police Service is asking the public to avoid the 1100 block of Elphinstone Street as a police investigation is underway. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to choose an alternative route.
At this early stage of the investigation, police say there are no further details that will be released to the public. The victims’ names will not be released at this time.
