MOOSOMIN — A 52-year-old man from the Rural Municipality of Martin is facing charges after a massive cattle fraud investigation by the Saskatchewan RCMP.
Officers and Livestock Services of Saskatchewan investigated a report of altered cattle brands in early July.
They inspected 197 head of cattle and discovered that 99 of them had an altered brand applied over the original.
The remaining 98 were fraudulently given a new brand.
Kelly Stephen is charged with altering a brand on cattle and fraud over $5,000.
