PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service is appealing to the public for information following an assault involving multiple people on Tuesday night.
Police were dispatched dispatched to the unit block of River Street West at approximately 9:37 p.m. on Aug. 11, after receiving a report of an assault involving multiple males. The individuals involved fled the scene before officers arrived.
Information obtained during the investigation indicates that two men were assaulted by a group of males. One of the victims is believed to have sustained serious injuries.
Following the assault, the two men left the area in a grey Ford F-150 pickup truck towing a boat covered by a tarp. Police are also asking anyone with dashcam, cellphone or other video footage from the area around the time of the incident to contact investigators.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the assault or has information that may assist with identifying those involved to contact the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222 or submit an anonymous tip online.
