LA LOCHE — The RCMP is investigating after a fatal rollover near La Loche.
According to a news release from the Saskatchewan RCMP, on Aug. 15 at approximately 2:20 a.m., the La Loche RCMP received a report of a rollover on Highway 155, approximately 30 kilometres south of La Loche.
The RCMP said officers responded along with local fire and EMS. The driver of the vehicle was declared dead by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 20-year-old man from Brampton, Ont. His family has been notified.
Four passengers were transported to hospital by EMS with injuries the RCMP described as non-life threatening.
The La Loche RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
