SASKATOON — A male youth faces charges following a weapons call in Brighton over the weekend where bear spray was located and seized by Saskatoon police.
At approximately 11:10 p.m. on Aug. 14, officers were called to a business in the 100 block of Gibson Bend for a weapons call where it was reported that a male walked in with a firearm.
When officers arrived, they located the youth inside the business where he was arrested without further incident. The male was found to be in possession of a can of bear spray.
As a result, the 15-year-old male youth has been charged with possession of a weapon (bear spray) and carrying a concealed weapon.
