PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit is investigating a serious assault that just before midnight on Aug. 18, leaving a 42-year-old man with significant injuries.
Police were called to an alley in the 1400 Block between 14th Street West and 15th Street West to assist Parkland Ambulance with an injured person.
When officers arrived, they located the victim with serious injuries, and he was taken to the hospital. The victim remains in the hospital.
The Major Crimes Unit is continuing to work to establish the circumstances surrounding the assault.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious, to contact the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222. Information can also be provided anonymously online.
