The Ag Transport Coalition reported modest improvement last week, with CN performance improving slightly while CPKC logged another near perfect week.
System order fulfillment performance in week 2 was 90%, an improvement from the 88% performance seen the prior week.
Performance returns to the 90% threshold for the first time in five weeks.
In supplying 79% of cars ordered by shippers in week 2, CN saw performance improve slightly from the 77% order fulfillment performance seen in week 1.
CN performance remains below the 80% threshold for a fifth consecutive week.
Meanwhile, in supplying 99% of shipper orders last week CPKC performance improved from the 98% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week.
CPKC performance remains at 90% or better for a fifteenth consecutive week.
