REGINA, Sask. — The Regina Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in relation to an ongoing aggravated assault investigation in North Central Regina.
On Aug. 14, at approximately 4 a.m., police were called to the 1400 block of Wascana Street, in the west alley, for a report of an injured person.
When they arrived, they found 37-year-old Rebecca Autumn Wilson, suffering from significant injuries. Wilson also uses the last name Mathieson and goes by the first name “Becky.” At this time, investigators with the Major Crimes Unit are continuing their work to determine what took place prior to the victim being located. Wilson’s family has approved the disclosure of her name in hopes it will advance the investigation.
