PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — The Prince Albert Police Service has appointed Darren Androsoff as an Inspector with the Service. Inspector Androsoff will oversee the Support Services Division, bringing 16 years of policing experience and a broad range of operational and leadership experience into the role.
Inspector Androsoff previously served as a Staff Sergeant and Watch Commander in the Patrol Division. In his career with the Prince Albert Police Service, he has worked in a number of specialized and leadership positions,including eight years with the Major Crimes Unit. He has also supervised the Police and Crisis Team, Community Safety Officers, and Alternative Call Response Program.
His experience extends beyond frontline policing. Inspector Androsoff has chaired the Prince Albert HUB table, coordinated missing person investigations, served as a member of the Emergency Response Team, and provided training to police service members and students at the Saskatchewan Police College.
“Darren has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to our organization throughout his career,” said Chief of Police Patrick Nogier. “His experience across a wide range of areas within the police service gives him a unique perspective that will serve him well in overseeing Support Services. I am confident he will bring the same dedication and professionalism that he has demonstrated throughout his career to this position.”
Inspector Androsoff is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Prince Albert community in his new role.

Inspector Androsoff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and previously worked as a Correctional Officer with the Government of Saskatchewan before joining the Prince Albert Police Service in 2011.
