PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) is asking for the public’s help identifying a female suspect following a robbery at a business on 15th Street East.
On Aug. 20 police were notified of a robbery that occurred at a business at approximately 7:55 p.m.
Officers learned that two females had entered the store shortly before closing. One of the females attempted to leave the store with merchandise without paying for it.
When employees attempted to intervene, the female pulled out a pair of scissors and swung them toward an employee before leaving the store with a tent. No physical injuries were reported to police.
The female was described as wearing a black windbreaker with a Nike logo and black pants. She was last seen carrying an orange tent.
Police are releasing photographs of the individual and are asking anyone who recognizes her or has information that may assist with the investigation to contact the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222.
Information can also be submitted anonymously online.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
