REGINA, Sask. – The Saskatchewan Party have nominated two more candidates for the 2028 provincial election, bringing their total up to seven candidates in place.
In White City-Qu'Appelle, Brad Crassweller has been chosen by the party again to run for the Sask Party. He was nominated Sept. 9 by acclamation.
Crassweller is in his first term as MLA for White City-Qu'Appelle and currently serves as the government whip and as Legislative Secretary to Parks, Culture and Sport. He also sits on the Standing Committees on House Services, Private Bills and Privileges, and Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice.
“Thank you for placing your trust in me again,” Crassweller said in a statement. “This is a fast-growing part of the province and I’m proud to represent it. I’ll keep working hard for the people of White City-Qu’Appelle.”
On Sept. 10, Dale Hrynuik was nominated by acclamation in Saskatoon Meewasin, currently held by the NDP's Nathaniel Teed.
According to the party's news release, Hrynuik is an electrician by trade who worked for the City of Saskatoon for over 30 years, and is currently working at a Saskatoon electrical contractor firm.
“Thank you for placing your trust in me – I’m proud to stand before you tonight as your Saskatchewan Party candidate,” Hrynuik said in a statement. “Now the real work begins.”
The Sask Party is set to nominate their eighth candidate next week on Sept. 15 in Saskatchewan Rivers, currently held by Eric Schmalz.
