LLOYDMINSTER, Sask. — Lloydminster RCMP are asking the public for help as they investigate the death of a dog found with multiple puncture wounds in her backyard.
Police were called to a home around 5:55 p.m. on Sept. 10, where they discovered a dog, named Sable, deceased in her backyard. Further investigation revealed Sable had puncture wounds on several parts of her body.
Neighbourhood inquiries revealed that sometime around 4:30 p.m., multiple dogs in the area started barking at the same time. Lloydminster RCMP is currently investigating, and an autopsy is to be conducted to reveal cause of death.
Anyone with footage of the area of 39 Street, 43 Street, 47 and 50 Avenues, especially pertaining to 41 Street, is asked to please review their footage.
