LLOYDMINSTER, Sask. — A Lloydminster man is facing several charges after Saskatchewan RCMP seized cocaine, methamphetamine and firearms from a home earlier this month.
On Sept. 9, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking and Response Team (STRT) executed a search warrant at a residence in Lloydminster as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
During the search, officers located and seized approximately 41 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, ammunition, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster STRT arrested 49-year-old Brett Zilliges, from Lloydminster, Sask. He has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and methamphetamine), possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, and careless use of a firearm.
Zilliges is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Nov. 5.
