YORKTON, Sask. — There has been a new development in the case of a Yorkton man arrested in connection with a murder in the city.
In Yorkton Provincial Court Sept. 16, 51-year-old Henry Chartrand was committed to stand trial in Yorkton Court of King's Bench at a later date.
Last October, Yorkton RCMP received a report of a man found dead outside a residence on Victoria Avenue.
The victim was later identified as 51-year-old Curtis Bourassa of Winnipeg.
