Built in 1882 by Major William Robert Bell, the Historic Bell Barn just north of Indian Head stands as Saskatchewan's oldest round stone barn. Constructed using local fieldstone, this architectural marvel was the crown jewel of an ambitious, 53,000-acre corporate farming project. Its innovative 20-metre-diameter round design featured evenly spaced gun ports and a central silo that initially doubled as a lookout tower, maximizing efficiency for feeding livestock.
