PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — The Prince Albert Police Service is advising the public that a joint emergency response training exercise will take place at the Prince Albert Airport on Sept. 24.
The exercise is scheduled to begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. and will involve members of the Prince Albert Police Service, Prince Albert Fire Department, Parkland Ambulance, City of Prince Albert, and airport personnel.
The training exercise is designed to provide participating agencies with an opportunity to practise a coordinated response to an emergency scenario and strengthen communication and collaboration between emergency services and partner agencies.
Members of the public may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in and around the airport during the exercise. This is a planned training event and there is no risk to public safety.
The Prince Albert Police Service thanks the public for its understanding while emergency responders conduct this important training.
