PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit arrested a 14-year-old male youth on Sept. 24 and charged him with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Peyton Flett.
The youth is scheduled to make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Sept. 25.
Police found Peyton's body during a search on Aug 13, in the 300 block of 40th street East.
Peyton was reported missing on June 30 and she last seen between June 16 and 17, in the area of Marquis Road and Central Avenue.
The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit say they continue to investigate Peyton’s death. They are asking anyone who may have information regarding Peyton Flett’s disappearance or the circumstances surrounding her death to contact the Prince Albert Police Services at 306-953-4222.
