WILKIE, Sask. — The Wilkie RCMP responded to the following calls during the weeks of Sept. 15 to 28.
RCMP received a complaint of assault, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members received a request to keep the peace while an individual retrieved personal property from a residence.
Police served a document to an individual at the request of a business.
RCMP received a report of breach of peace. Members spoke to the subjects of complaint.
Members received a report of an individual in possession of stolen property. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a report of a dog running loose in Wilkie. Members returned the animal to the owner.
Members received a complaint of uttering threats, but it was unfounded.
RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. Members made patrols but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Police received a report of an unwanted individual at a business. Members attended, but the subject of complaint was gone on arrival. The complainant declined to proceed.
Members received a report of animal neglect. The complaint was referred to Animal Protection Services.
RCMP received three complaints of an individual not complying with a court order, but all were unfounded.
Members acted as mediators in a public dispute.
Police received a report of an individual in possession of drugs. This matter is still under investigation.
RCMP received a complaint of assault, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members received a complaint of a dog biting a person. The complaint was referred to the Bylaw Officer.
RCMP received a complaint of a stolen bicycle. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a complaint of forcible confinement, but the victim declined to proceed.
Police received a report of a suspicious individual near a residence. Members spoke to the subject of the complaint.
RCMP received a request from the Town of Wilkie to attend a residence with the Bylaw Officer to keep the peace while a summons was served to the residents.
A 43-year-old woman from Wilkie was charged with failure to comply with a probation order and failure to comply with a release order condition at the request of Probation Services.
Members received a request to safely dispose of a knife that was found near a school playground.
Police received a complaint of uttering threats, but the complainant declined to proceed.
RCMP received two reports of a suspicious individual near a residence. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
A 59-year-old man from Wilkie was charged with assault with a weapon after members received a complaint of assault.
Members received a report of a lost cell phone. The phone was located.
Police received a report of a stolen truck. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a request from Emergency Medical Services to assist with a patient.
There were also six traffic complaints, two false alarms, one false 911 and one noise complaint.
