UNITY, Sask. — The Unity RCMP responded to the following calls during the weeks of Sept. 15 to 28.
RCMP received a report of an individual on the highway near Unity. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Members spoke to an individual regarding a peace bond.
Police conducted a well-being check at the request of a concerned citizen.
Members received a complaint of trespassing, but it was unfounded.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of the complaint.
Police received a report of an injured deer on the highway. Members attended and euthanized the animal.
RCMP received a complaint of public mischief. Members spoke to the subject of the complaint and issued a verbal warning.
Members spoke to an individual regarding trespassing concerns.
Police received a report of a suspicious individual walking down the street. Members spoke to the subject of complaint. No further police action required.
RCMP received a complaint of a railway crossing malfunction near Unity. Members notified CN Rail.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a concerned citizen.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of the complaint.
Members are investigating a complaint of criminal harassment.
A 38-year-old man from Unity was charged with assault causing bodily harm after members received a complaint of a dispute.

Members received a nonsensical letter. Insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a complaint of counterfeit money deposited at a local banking institution. Insufficient evidence to proceed.
RCMP observed a vehicle damaging an overhead fibre optic line. Members notified SaskTel.
Members spoke to an individual regarding a trespassing concern.
There were three traffic complaints, one false alarm and one false 911 call.
