SASKATOON, Sask. — The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged an RM of Morris man with internet child exploitation offences.
On Oct. 1, the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the RM of Morris where electronic devices were examined at the scene and seized by investigators.
A 37-year-old man was charged with two counts of possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
He appeared in court on Oct. 1 and was released on court-imposed conditions until his next court date on Oct. 29, in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.
