REGINA, Sask. — Regina business and community leaders will hear from economic and business executives Oct. 21 about Canada's economic outlook and strategies for navigating uncertainty.
The Regina Chamber and Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) are hosting an economic outlook event from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Conexus Arts Centre Theatre Lobby.
Arnaud Franco, BDC's director of economic research, will present BDC's Economic Outlook 2026: Navigating Uncertainty and Building What's Next.
The presentation will examine Canada's economic outlook, ongoing uncertainty, changing trade dynamics and evolving market conditions.
Franco will also discuss findings from BDC's latest economic research and strategies businesses can use to improve productivity, diversify markets and strengthen resilience.
Isabelle Hudon, BDC's president and CEO, will also deliver remarks during the event.
The morning will feature a keynote address from Murad Al-Katib, president and CEO of AGT Foods. Al-Katib will discuss leadership, global trade, innovation and opportunities for Canadian businesses.
The event will begin with registration and networking at 7:30 a.m., followed by Franco's presentation at 8 a.m. Hudon's remarks are scheduled for 8:45 a.m., with Al-Katib's keynote at 9 a.m.
A question period will follow at 9:20 a.m., with the event scheduled to conclude at 9:30 a.m.
