MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Three people face charges after a Sept. 30 traffic stop led to the seizure of more than 330 grams of cocaine and methamphetamine, according to the Moose Jaw Police Service.
Police said officers conducting a proactive patrol spotted a person travelling in a vehicle who was known to be violating their release conditions.
Several individuals fled on foot after officers stopped the vehicle, according to police. Officers apprehended them and found 308.9 grams of cocaine in their possession.
Police seized the vehicle and drugs as evidence. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered 22.2 grams of methamphetamine, bringing the total amount seized to 331.1 grams.
Police estimated the combined street value of the drugs at more than $33,000.
Allison Myers, 28, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, obstruction of a peace officer and trespassing at night.
Jeffory Robinson, 51, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, breach of a release order and trespassing at night.
Brandi Adam, 45, was charged with driving while prohibited.
The release did not identify the location of the traffic stop or indicate whether the three accused remained in custody or had been released. It also did not include information about upcoming court appearances.
