SASKATOON, Sask. — Nickelback is returning to SaskTel Centre on April 2, 2027, as part of its newly announced Everything Under The Sun tour.
The announcement brings the Alberta-born band back to Saskatoon for the first time since June 2023, when it played the venue during its Get Rollin’ tour. Nickelback’s most recent Saskatchewan performance was at Country Thunder Saskatchewan in Craven on July 13, 2024.
Formed in Hanna, Alta., in 1995, Nickelback features lead singer Chad Kroeger, guitarist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger and drummer Daniel Adair. The band became an international hitmaker following the release of its 2001 album Silver Side Up, which included “How You Remind Me,” one of its best-known songs.
Other major hits include “Photograph,” “Rockstar,” “Far Away” and “Someday.” Nickelback has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and earned 12 Juno Awards. The band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2023.
The upcoming tour shares its name with the band’s 11th studio album, Everything Under The Sun, scheduled for release Oct. 30, 2026. It follows 2022’s Get Rollin’ and marks the band’s next studio release as it continues a career spanning more than three decades.
Fans will have an opportunity to buy tickets through a Live Nation All Access presale beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans must sign up for All Access in advance at Live Nation. The presale ends Oct. 15, at 10 p.m.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Oct. 16, at 10 a.m. local time.
The Saskatoon stop gives Saskatchewan fans another chance to see one of the country’s most commercially successful rock acts perform live, with the band’s familiar catalogue and new music both part of the wider Everything Under The Sun era.
