MEADOW LAKE, Sask. — Meadow Lake conservation officers received a report Sept. 26 regarding a moose that was illegally harvested.
According to the Sasktip Facebook page, the head, hide and guts were left without permission on private land south of the Meadow Lake Power Station. There was no season for moose in that zone at the time.
Officers are seeking any information a member of the public might have regarding this violation.
If anyone has information, contact the Turn-In Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line at 1-800-667-7561. People don't have to give their name, and they might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 through the Sasktip Rewards Program.
