UNITY, Sask. — A man facing charges that include allegations of sexual assault involving a youth had his latest court appearance on Oct. 19 in Unity Provincial Court.
On March 24, Unity RCMP received a report of an alleged sexual assault that occurred earlier in the month in Unity.
The complainant is a youth.
As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old man was charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
A publication ban is in effect in the case.
At the Oct. 19 court appearance, the matter was adjourned for election.
The accused is scheduled to appear again on Nov. 16 in Unity Provincial Court.
