Six Saskatchewan Roughriders have been named West Division All-CFL following the 2026 regular season, including four players on offence, one on defence and one on special teams.
The National Chapter of the Football Reporters of Canada, local media representatives, West Division head coaches and fans recognized offensive linemen Logan Ferland and Jermarcus Hardrick, receivers KeeSean Johnson and Kian Schaffer-Baker, linebacker Jameer Thurman and long snapper Mike Benson.
Ferland, Johnson and Thurman are among the players returning to the divisional honour roll, while Schaffer-Baker and Benson earned their first selections.
Ferland and Hardrick helped pave the way for a Saskatchewan offence that finished the regular season with Trevor Harris leading the CFL in passing yards with 5,370. The offensive line allowed just 29 sacks through 18 games, the second-fewest in the league.
Ferland earns his third consecutive divisional All-CFL selection after being named the league's top centre in both 2024 and 2025. The Roughriders' nominee for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman also played a key role in short-yardage quarterback Tommy Stevens' success, who set a franchise record with 17 rushing touchdowns.
Hardrick makes his second straight appearance on the divisional team as a Roughrider. The veteran tackle was also recognized in 2021 and 2023 as a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2025.
Johnson continued to establish himself as one of the CFL's top receivers, finishing the season with 108 catches for 1,328 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games. His receptions led the Roughriders in total, and his eight touchdowns helped Saskatchewan secure a playoff berth.
Johnson caught the game-winning touchdown in the final minute of Saskatchewan's 16-12 win over the Montreal Alouettes on Oct. 17 at Mosaic Stadium, clinching a postseason spot. The receiver also led the CFL in second-down receptions for the second straight season, catching 38 in 2026 after 39 in 2025. He finished second in the league in receptions and third in receiving yards.
Schaffer-Baker earned his first divisional All-CFL selection after his best season. Despite appearing in just 12 games, the receiver recorded 68 receptions for 1,033 yards and seven touchdowns. His average of 86.1 receiving yards per game ranked third in the CFL. Schaffer-Baker also recorded four 100-yard performances, including a career-high 185 receiving yards against Edmonton on July 23.
He reached the 1,000-yard milestone in 11 games, tying for the second-fastest pace in Roughriders history. Schaffer-Baker was also Saskatchewan's nominee for Most Outstanding Canadian.
On defence, Thurman earned his second consecutive divisional All-CFL selection after another strong season as the anchor of the Roughriders' defence. The team captain recorded 100 defensive tackles for the first time in his career, surpassing his previous personal best of 97. He finished third in the CFL and became just the 13th Roughriders player to reach the 100-tackle milestone.
Thurman added three sacks, five tackles for loss, one forced fumble and two pass knockdowns. He recorded at least five defensive tackles in 13 games and was named Saskatchewan's Most Outstanding Defensive Player for the second straight season.
Benson rounds out the six Roughriders recognized, earning his first divisional All-CFL selection in his 14th CFL season. The veteran long snapper appeared in 17 regular-season games, handling 164 snaps, including 45 field goals, 37 converts and 82 punts. His work helped Saskatchewan finish second in the CFL in opposition punt-return average, allowing just 10.9 yards per return.
The six selections highlight contributions across all three phases of the game as the Roughriders turn their attention to the CFL playoffs.
Saskatchewan will open the postseason against the B.C. Lions in the West Division semifinal on Saturday, Oct. 31, at BC Place in Vancouver. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saskatchewan time. You can hear the game starting at 11:30 on the 620 CKRM Rider Broadcast Network.
