SASKATCHEWAN — Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory Nov. 1 for much of the province.
The warning covers the cities of Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Moose Jaw, the district of Lakeland and communities in dozens of RMs.
The alert states saturated conditions under a ridge of high pressure is leading to patchy dense fog over portions of southern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba.
Visibilities will improve late this morning, Environment Canada said, but fog will likely return tonight for some areas.
Travel will likely be hazardous in some locations, the advisory said. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, visibility is reduced on many highways in the province, and some routes are listed as bare-wet.
SaskToday will have updates as they become available.
