ESTEVAN, Sask. — The Estevan Police Service is investigating the theft of a cargo trailer.
According to the Nov. 2 police report, the trailer was stolen in late October. An investigation tied the trailer to an RCMP effort in which the trailer was located and a suspect vehicle was identified. The EPS said it continues to look into the matter.
The EPS is also investigating a mischief to a business on Kensington Avenue in which exterior windows appear to have been broken by rocks. The EPS said the matter remains under investigation.
A complaint of a near-hit collision between a vehicle and pedestrian was received and the EPS said it is under investigation.
EPS members attended to a domestic disturbance in the Valleyview area during the night shift. The situation was de-escalated by police, the EPS said, and determined to be parents attempting to control the behaviour of their child. No further police involvement was required.
