SASKATOON — Two women were arrested early Thursday morning following a drug trafficking investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team.
At about 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 26, members of the Crime Reduction Team, with assistance of patrol officers, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 33rd Street West and Neault Road as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Two women, age 48 and 49, were arrested without incident.
Following a search of the vehicle, police seized 5,082 grams of methamphetamine, 1 gram of crack cocaine, $600 CAD, scales, and cell phones.
The two women have both been charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
