WYNYARD — A guilty plea has been entered by one of two people charged in connection with a poppy box theft in Wynyard.
Thirty-four-year-old Nathan Reimer of Watson admitted to the offence in Wynyard Provincial Court on Feb. 26.
He received a suspended sentence with three months of probation and was ordered to pay $30 in restitution to the Royal Canadian Legion.
His co-accused, 42-year-old Rachael Johnson of Watson, had her matter adjourned to March 26.
The charges stem from the theft of a poppy donation box at the Subway in Wynyard on Nov. 10.
