REGINA — Police say a man died of an apparent medical emergency at a business on Victoria Avenue Friday afternoon, and no criminal investigation is underway.
Officers were called shortly after 4 p.m. on Feb. 28 to a business in the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue to assist other first responders. Officers arrived and provided CPR to the man but he was declared deceased by EMS on scene
According to police, the death appears to have been the result of a medical emergency. An investigation found nothing suspicious, and there’s no indication of criminal activity.
“There is no criminal element and an investigation turned up nothing suspicious,” said Regina Police Service in an email to SaskToday. “As such, there is no further police involvement and it’s not something we would do a release or the media would report on due to it being a medical event.”
