Bayer has announced a new multi-crop seed brand call newgold.
The brand is specifically for low-carbon intensity crops designed for the fast-growing biofuel market, including renewal diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. For the south-central plains of the United States, winter canola is under development. For the Canadian Prairies, specifically drier areas, spring camelina and winter camelina are under development.
