REGINA — An oversized haul moving from Lajord to a location west of Strasbourg won’t be hitting the roads on Thursday due to the weather.
On its Facebook page, Highway Hotline posted about the news.
“The oversized log house and garage move won’t take place today due to road conditions.”
The haul is measured at about 60 feet in width, roughly 80 feet in length, and stands approximately 40 feet tall.
On Tuesday, the haul started moving north of Lajord on Route 621, crossing both Highways 33 and 48 before reaching Highway 1.
The haul then continued west of Highway 1 north on Highway 10, and then proceeded west along Grid Road 734 on Wednesday.
According to Highway Hotline, the haul’s route will continue up Highway 6 through the Qu'Appelle Valley and head west along Highway 220 before reaching its destination.
The Ministry of Highways advised travellers to check the Highway Hotline to avoid travel delays while the haul moves.
Weather permitting, the haul will continue its trek on Friday.
