The Saskatchewan Health Authority says they have one confirmed case of COVID-19 of a staff member at the Meadow Lake Hospital. The case was linked to community transmission and to this date, no patients have shown COVID-19 symptoms.
An outbreak was declared Tuesday night with the S-H-A saying the positive staff member and close contacts are on self isolation with additional contact tracing already underway.
There are no service disruptions at this time at the hospital.
