REGINA — The Autism Resource Centre is turning 50, and on April 21, 2026, the city is invited to celebrate at the Conexus Arts Centre.
Since 1976, ARC has been a cornerstone for autistic individuals and their families, offering programs that build life skills, employment opportunities, social connections, and overall well‑being. What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a hub of advocacy, education, and community support in southern Saskatchewan.
The anniversary event will bring together autistic individuals, families, service providers, community leaders, and government representatives to recognize five decades of impact. The evening features a community reception, dinner, and a moderated panel discussion titled “Perspectives in Autism”, where individuals with lived experience, parents, and professionals will share their insights and experiences.
“The ARC 50th Anniversary is more than a celebration,” said Executive Director Angela Ricci. “It’s an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made, highlight the contributions of our community, and look forward to building an even more inclusive future.”
This milestone event is open to the public. Attendees will have the chance to learn about autism through diverse perspectives, celebrate ARC’s achievements, and connect with the people and programs shaping Regina’s neurodiverse community.
Join ARC to honour 50 years of service and be part of the next chapter in supporting autistic individuals and families. The evening promises connection, learning, and celebration of a community that continues to grow stronger every day.
The Autism Resource Centre’s 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place April 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina and tickets can be purchased online.
