REGINA — A man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Ring Road Tuesday evening.
Police were called to the scene around 6 p.m. on March 18, between Assiniboine Avenue and Wascana Parkway.
According to Regina police, the driver and lone occupant was travelling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway, went through a ditch and struck a tree.
Several witnesses pulled the driver from the vehicle before it caught fire shortly after the collision.
When officers arrived, Regina Fire and Protective Services and EMS were already on scene.
The driver was transported to hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
