ESTEVAN — Brandt Peterbilt Estevan Minor Football is turning to the public for assistance with a couple of recent incidents at its facilities.
“Unfortunately, individuals feel the need to break into a Woodlawn [Regional Park] kitchen facility that is providing services for a non-profit organization,” the EMF said in a post on its Facebook page on March 20.
The kitchen facility is at the concession building at the Dana Quewezance Memorial Field at the Woodlawn Athletic Park. According to the Facebook post, the perpetrators wrecked some expensive roll-up security shutters and destroyed a fridge-freezer.
EMF president Pat Ford said a door jam at the nearby Chow Field practice facility was also recently damaged in a separate incident.
The value of the damaged equipment hasn’t been tabulated.
If anyone has any information about these occurrences, please contact Ford at 306-421-9233, the Estevan RCMP at 306-637-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
