REGINA — Regina police are asking witnesses to come forward as investigators work to conclude an aggravated assault case stemming from a stabbing on the city’s east side earlier this month.
Shortly after midnight on March 16, officers were called to a business in the 700 block of Victoria Avenue for a report that someone had been stabbed. Once on scene, officers located a man suffering from a stab wound. The male suspect fled the scene following the offence. EMS arrived and transported the man to the hospital with what appeared to be serious injuries.
There were several patrons in the business at the time of the assault. Investigators are asking them to contact police at 306-777-6500 or, if they wish to remain anonymous, contact Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
