SASKATOON — Saskatoon police are investigating after bear spray was released during an altercation involving a group of youth on a city bus downtown late Wednesday night.
Officers were called around 10:45 p.m. on March 25 to a stationary bus near Auditorium Avenue and 22nd Street East. Police say a large group of youth had been arguing on board when some began to get off the bus. As they did, someone discharged bear spray, prompting the group to scatter in several directions.
Members of Saskatoon Police Service patrol are continuing to investigate.
