MEET THE MEMBER
Good day, I’m Cst. Matthias Gryba and I’ve just transferred to the Cut Knife RCMP detachment. I have been with the RCMP since July 2019. I am from Saskatchewan and have lived here most of my life. I have been posted previously in Birch Narrows First Nation and Big River. I am very excited to move to the area and learn about the communities. I’m interested in the history of the area and the beauty of the landscape. I am also excited to see the cultural events in the area and attend the Pow Wows in the summer with my family.
RED SERGE TIP
With the arrival of spring, the Cut Knife RCMP would like to remind the public that while the snow is melting, the law is not. Warmer weather tends to bring an increase in outdoor activity, which is great, but it can also lead to a seasonal rise in mischief, opportunistic thefts, and questionable decision-making after too much “fresh air”. As you dust off your bikes, yard tools and common sense, please remember to lock your vehicles, secure your property and report suspicious activity.
