SASKATOON — The Warman RCMP is currently investigating the cause of an accident late Wednesday night, March 26, where a semi ended up in the ditch on Highway 16.
Several motorists have reportedly seen Saskatoon emergency vehicles heading to the scene of the accident, with tow trucks also present to assist.
According to the RCMP media relations, the semi spilled the lumber it was transporting on Highway 16, south of Langham. Warman RCMP reported no injuries.
Warman RCMP received the report of a semi travelling south, at around 9:55 a.m., veering off the road and entering the ditch.
The accident caused the lumber to spill onto the road, where another vehicle was damaged after being struck by a piece of lumber that fell off the truck.
