SASKATCHEWAN – A late-March storm striking much of southern and central Saskatchewan on March 30 is causing problems on highways.
According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure’s Highway Hotline, travel is not recommended on several highways northwest of Regina, including Highway 11 from Regina to Lumsden. Most of Highway 1 from Carmichael in southwest Saskatchewan to the Manitoba border is listed as covered.
Most routes in south-central and southeast Saskatchewan are listed as covered. Some highways in central Saskatchewan are covered. Visibility is reduced on some routes.

A special weather statement remains in effect for much of southern and central Saskatchewan, including the cities of Regina and Moose Jaw, and communities within more than 100 RMs.
