The Ag Transport Coalition reports Week 33 saw system performance decline slightly once again, with CN and CPKC Rail combined, supplying 65% of hopper cars ordered, a decline from the 67% performance seen in week 32.
System performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a ninth consecutive week, and below the 80% threshold for an eighth consecutive week.
In supplying 79% of cars ordered by shippers in week 33, CN saw performance improve slightly from the 77% order fulfillment performance seen in week 32.
CN performance remains below the 90% threshold for a ninth straight week and for the tenth time in the last eleven weeks.
Meanwhile, in supplying 52% of shipper orders, CPKC saw performance decline from the 60% order fulfillment performance seen in week 32, matching their second worst performance of the year previously seen in week 30.
CPKC performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for an eighth consecutive week, and below the 80% threshold for a seventh straight week.
