REGINA — A week-long restriction on 11th Avenue is due to start Monday, according to the City of Regina's roadwork notices.
From April 6 to April 13, 11th Avenue from Scarth Street to Cornwall Street will be closed to allow for the 11th Avenue Revitalization Project to continue.
This four-year project began in 2023, and includes several upgrades to the roadway, streetscape, sidewalks and underground infrastructure.
The project has been taking place in phases between Broad Street and Albert Street, roughly two to four blocks at a time, and will revitalize 11th Avenue as the City of Regina prepares for growth and works to attract more people to the downtown.
