The weather has changed quite a bit throughout the weekend in Saskatchewan.
Residents experienced temperatures in the double digits during the day on Friday with plenty of sunshine. Strong wind gusts reaching 80 km/h from the west began Friday night and moved into Saturday. And while the winds reduced bit, that’s when the snow arrived.
Flurries have dominated the forecast since Saturday afternoon and it looks like they’re here to stay for the next couple days.
Environment Canada says cloudy conditions will cover the Land of Living Skies right until Tuesday and will be accompanied with snow. People can expect snowfall to begin sometime between late Sunday night and early Monday morning.
The agency is calling for two to four centimetres of snow on Monday with the wind chill sticking around -14°C. More snow is predicted to fall on Monday night and throughout the day on Tuesday before things start clearing up that night.
Trick or treaters might be in store for some more snow on Halloween, however temperatures may not be as harsh on Thursday with a daytime high of plus two that day.
