KINDERSLEY — Kindersley RCMP seized fentanyl, methamphetamine and heroin during a proactive traffic stop, resulting in the arrest of four individuals in a business parking lot in Kindersley.
On April 3, Kindersley RCMP were conducting proactive traffic enforcement and pulled over a vehicle with four occupants inside.
As a result of the investigation, officers searched the vehicle and located approximately 51 grams of fentanyl, 16 grams of methamphetamine, drug-trafficking paraphernalia, unstamped tobacco, a small amount of heroin and a sum of cash. The vehicle occupants, two males and two females, were arrested at the scene.
As a result of the continued investigation, a 43-year-old woman from Kindersley is charged with one count of trafficking fentanyl; and one count of being at large on an undertaking.
She was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Kindersley RCMP.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on April 7.

A 45-year-old man from Kindersley was arrested for breach of his statutory release and returned to custody.
The other female was later released from police custody without charges.
Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate.
“Drug trafficking has serious consequences for individuals, families, and our communities as a whole,” said S/Sgt. Sebastian Andrews, the Kindersley RCMP detachment commander, in the news release. “Through proactive enforcement and ongoing investigations, our officers strive to keep our communities safe from the sale of these dangerous substances, such as fentanyl.”
